OGtech, is the outcome of joint collaborative efforts between Oman Educational Services and WZL GmbH, Germany in the year 2009, though its initial seeds were sowed in 2007 itself.

The Company, is formed as a limited liability company, registered with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Oman, with the aim to function as the business arm of German University of Technology in Oman (“GUtech”).  With GUtech being the only German University operating out of the Arabian Peninsula, among the private universities, the Company extends the scientific bond that exit between the Sultanate of Oman and the Federal Republic of Germany through the affiliation of GUtech to RWTH University, by offering German expertise in engineering and management to the Industry in Oman. Together with its highly experienced partners from the German training and consultancy sector as well as industry partners, OGtech offers high standard services in business development, training and consultancy.

OGtech also offers local liaison office services to German companies in the initial stages of establishing their presence in the Sultanate.

Initially the company was involved in facilitating vocational training services and short courses to individuals and corporates, using its German network.

The company currently operates out of the GUtech premises at Halban and offers its professional expertise in the fields of business development, training and consultancy.
